The Race Comp's carbon wrapped variable channel wood core produces
excellent torsional rigidity for improved control and speed. A
race finished graphite base increases glide and gets wrapped around
the tail for added durability while double grooves provide better
steering control. The Scarabeo grip profile improves edge hold
and allows grinding the edges without affecting the base structure.
Also available in a junior race version which uses a sandwich
style construction with polyethylene sidewalls and the same variable
channel wood core .
