Trab's cross country skis deliver the maximum glide for every stride in
a very light weight package. The handcrafted skis use up to 13 different
layers of carbon fiber and carbon re-inforced glass along with up to 30
different materials to achieve the perfect combination of weight and performance.
As part of Ski Trab's 19 point quality control checklist, every ski gets
bar-coded, dated, numbered and labeled with the initials of the 4 people
responsible for that ski's production. Skis get thoroughly tested both
using both modern factory equipment and daily in the field use by athletes.
All of Trab's nordic skis feature wrapped around tails for shock-resistant
protection, durable polyethylene sidewalls and a micro-finish race grind
for better glide. They also use a grip rofile which allows edge grinding
without affecting the base structure. Every ski effectively employs Trab's
design philosophy, to lose the weight without sacrificing performance
and durability; providing the best value in performance cross country
equipment available.
